Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate the assigned truck and conduct regular inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver goods accurately and on time while maintaining clear communication with customers and team members.
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, including necessary equipment and documents.
- Adhere to safety standards, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or incidents promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns professionally.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving operational goals.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate or equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG Retail industry.
Competencies Required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
- Friendly, confident, and team-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and verbal English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
