About the Role

The Community Work Programme (CWP) seeks a District Coordinator to oversee the implementation of community development initiatives. This role ensures alignment with service delivery goals, compliance with program standards, and effective stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate CWP activities across district sites, ensuring alignment with service priorities.
  • Monitor program performance, compliance, and reporting for all sites.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement with local government, NGOs, and community groups.
  • Manage training logistics, site audits, and progress tracking for 100+ participants.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and validate data accuracy.
  • Oversee asset management and document control systems.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate (Matric)
  • Degree/Diploma in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in project coordination or community development
  • Valid driver’s license and residency within the district
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
