Data Capturer (5 Months Contract) – Buffalo City Metro District

Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate with no prior experience.
  • Basic knowledge of administration processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Numeracy skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to work with data.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Duties

  • Provide administrative support services, including capturing and updating data on computer systems.
  • Generate spreadsheets.
  • Update the system with all relevant data sets.
  • Validate data to ensure it is correct, complete, and consistent.
  • Compile routine statistical information and reports.
  • Receive, register, and track records or documents for processing.
  • Capture routine transactions, such as transferring information from manual records to electronic documents.
  • Provide routine administrative maintenance services, including updating and filing records.
  • Continuously update information on computer systems for reporting purposes.
  • Maintain the DHIS database.
  • Retrieve required information as needed.
