About the Role:
Join SARS as a Data Analytics Specialist to support operational decision-making through advanced data analysis and reporting. This role requires translating complex data into actionable insights while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Statistics, Data Science, IT, Economics or related field + 5-7 years’ relevant experience
- OR Matric Certificate + 10 years’ experience in data analysis/research environment
- Proven technical skills in data validation and analytics processes
Core Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze service delivery data and produce executive reports
- Maintain data integrity across operational systems
- Identify trends and potential operational risks
Process Improvement:
- Develop data validation processes and optimization strategies
- Implement procedural changes and improvement initiatives
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure adherence to legislative requirements
- Implement compliance processes within analytics operations
