Data Analyst I

Job Purpose

To provide operational and analytical support to manage data quality effectively.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science or Statistics, with 2 – 3 years’ experience in a Data Analysis environment, including 1 – 2 years at knowledge worker level.

Alternative

  • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 5 years related experience in a Data Analysis environment, including 1 – 2 years at knowledge worker level.

Job Outputs

Process

  • Use evaluative frameworks, behavioral experimentation methodologies, theory construction, and model building skills to support evidence-based product and design decisions.
  • Gather information and prepare reports with recommendations for your area of specialization.
  • Apply practical knowledge to identify trends and potential risks using relevant methods, systems, and procedures.
  • Observe and report any violations of procedures or standards of conduct, escalating issues as needed.
  • Collect and analyze data, then provide reports and recommendations.
