Cylinder Truck Driver – Witbank (Contract/Temporary Role)

Overview & Key Responsibilities
The role involves safely and reliably delivering and collecting packaged gas to and from internal and external customer sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
- Handling the loading and offloading of cylinders
- Ensuring safe and efficient deliveries
- Maintaining proper housekeeping standards
- Adhering to SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards
Essential Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Valid unendorsed EC Driver’s License with PrDP
- Valid Forklift license
- Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Reliable personal transport
- Minimum of 5 years in heavy-duty driving
- Experience in transporting and handling Dangerous Goods
- Medical fitness for physical work
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime
- Ability to produce accurate reports and delivery paperwork
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
