Cultural Officer Position – Alfred NZO District (Mount Ayliff)

Position Details:
Employment Type: Full Time
Required Education:
– Matric Certificate
– National Certificate/Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Arts & Culture or related field
Experience Required: 1-2 years in relevant field
Location: Eastern Cape Province
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of arts/culture policy implementation
- Experience in program coordination
- Administrative and organizational skills
- Community engagement experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate provincial arts/culture programs
- Manage artist rosters and festival logistics
- Oversee art center operations and community access
- Develop artist databases and support structures
- Create business plans and progress reports
- Monitor budgets and resource management
