  • Experience: 3+ years in relevant field
  • Location: North West, South Africa
  • Registration: Must have active registration with relevant professional body

Requirements

  • Proficiency in South African legal frameworks: Criminal Procedure Act, Children’s Act, and others
  • Experience working with disabilities and understanding court procedures
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Prior exposure to child testimony support (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver intermediary services for children and vulnerable witnesses during court proceedings
  • Manage specialized communication support for language/disability needs
  • Maintain equipment in intermediary rooms
  • Assist witnesses with testimony techniques, including anatomically-detailed dolls
  • Coordinate referrals for additional witness support
