Core Purpose
Monitor environmental pollution and chemical management through data collection, analysis, and development of monitoring systems to support environmental protection objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on pollution management policies and regulations
- Develop and manage water quality monitoring programs
- Implement information systems for pollution data management
- Collaborate on regional environmental protection initiatives
- Manage team operations and resource allocation
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in relevant scientific/engineering field
- Valid driver’s license (Code B or higher)
- Proven experience in environmental compliance monitoring
Essential Skills
- Data analysis and technical reporting
- Project management and budgeting
- Stakeholder engagement
- MS Office proficiency
Compensation
R612,480 per annum (OSD Grade A Scale)
