Position Requirements

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 8) in Natural/Environmental Sciences or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven expertise in developing compliance training programs and environmental legislation implementation.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver national training programs for Environmental Management Inspectors and partner agencies.
  • Monitor performance of compliance initiatives and support field operations.
  • Develop training materials aligned with South Africa’s environmental laws.
  • Coordinate with government agencies (SARS, SAPS, NPA) and international partners.
  • Manage program logistics including venue bookings and resource procurement.
