Requirements
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree (NQF8) in Natural/Environmental Sciences or equivalent qualification
- 6 years’ experience in biodiversity/climate change fields post-qualification
- Proven experience in creating and implementing biodiversity strategies
- Expertise in Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) and Nature-based Solutions
- Knowledge of international environmental agreements
- Valid driver’s license and project management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop climate adaptation tools for biodiversity protection
- Implement Ecosystem-based Adaptation strategy and guidelines
- Coordinate cross-sectoral environmental initiatives
- Provide technical guidance on biodiversity-climate matters
- Support intergovernmental environmental agreements
