Job Purpose
To provide expertise, advice, and support to deliver on operational plans and service processes. This role ensures that incoming service requests from clients are resolved effectively to improve service delivery.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification and Experience Required
- Relevant National Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) and 2-3 years’ corporate tax experience in a similar environment, including 1-2 years at knowledge worker level.

- Gather information and prepare reports with recommendations in your area of expertise.
- Use practical knowledge to identify trends and risks using methods, systems, and procedures.
- Communicate interpretations and judgments on work outputs and queries.
- Plan and schedule your activities to improve quality and service.
- Implement process changes and provide guidelines for new requirements.
- Apply knowledge to consider policy implications and make decisions.
- Follow applicable legislation, policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- Resolve queries and problems promptly, escalate unresolved issues.
- Work with other business units and stakeholders to resolve taxpayer queries.
- Identify gaps, challenges, or issues in processes and suggest improvements.
- Capture applications for CIT, VAT, PAYE, MPRR, and Customs and Excise, ensuring data accuracy.
- Follow up on incomplete information or documents with taxpayers.
- Facilitate discussions with relevant units until cases are finalized.
- Ensure taxpayer compliance through manual and automated methods.
- Promote taxpayer education.
