Key Responsibilities
Claims Assessment
- Evaluate loss of support claims against established standards
- Analyze financial documentation to verify support obligations
- Apply legal guidelines and statutory limits to determine compensation
- Review actuarial reports and initiate calculations when required
Quality Control
- Maintain high processing standards for all claims
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures
- Research relevant legislation and case law
Operations Management
- Handle correspondence and documentation
- Prepare reports and progress updates
- Track performance metrics and identify process improvements
Stakeholder Relations
- Manage queries and provide timely resolutions
- Maintain productive relationships with all parties
- Ensure clear communication throughout claims processes
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree/Advanced Diploma)
- 3+ years’ experience in claims assessment environment
- Strong understanding of legal and financial documentation
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
