Position Details

Key Responsibilities

Claims Assessment

• Evaluate loss of support claims against established standards
• Analyze financial documentation to verify support obligations
• Apply legal guidelines and statutory limits to determine compensation
• Review actuarial reports and initiate calculations when required

Quality Control

• Maintain high processing standards for all claims
• Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures
• Research relevant legislation and case law

Operations Management

• Handle correspondence and documentation
• Prepare reports and progress updates
• Track performance metrics and identify process improvements

Stakeholder Relations

• Manage queries and provide timely resolutions
• Maintain productive relationships with all parties
• Ensure clear communication throughout claims processes

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree/Advanced Diploma)
• 3+ years’ experience in claims assessment environment
• Strong understanding of legal and financial documentation
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
