Core Responsibilities:
Claims Assessment & Processing:
- Evaluate loss of earnings claims against established adjudication standards
- Analyze claimant education, skills, age, and injury documentation
- Determine eligibility for compensation using legal frameworks and case law
- Calculate appropriate compensation amounts within statutory limits
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and SOPs
- Verify claim documentation accuracy before processing
- Implement quality control measures for service standards
Operational Support:
- Maintain detailed case records and documentation
- Prepare reports and correspondence
- Track and report on operational targets
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Address queries within defined response timelines
- Maintain professional relationships with claimants and partners
- Provide clear status updates on case progress
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in relevant field
- National Certificate (NQF 6) holders may apply
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in insurance claims processing
- Experience in compensation adjudication preferred
