Position Overview

- Experience Needed: 5-7 years legal practice
- Location: Multiple SARS Locations
- Registration: Completed Practical Legal Training
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle tax-related litigation matters from preparation to resolution
- Draft legal documents and provide authoritative opinions
- Represent SARS in court proceedings
- Manage external legal counsel and litigation planning
- Present complex legal matters to internal committees
Essential Qualifications
- Proven court procedure knowledge and case preparation skills
- Experience in tax law and regulatory compliance
- Strong legal research and report writing capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex cases
