Position Purpose

Provide expert governance support to client boards, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain effective corporate governance frameworks in alignment with South African legislation and King IV principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage statutory compliance under Companies Act and related regulations
  • Prepare/deliver board agendas, minutes, and shareholder communications
  • Maintain corporate records and oversee CIPC submissions
  • Advise on share management and corporate governance best practices
  • Develop board evaluation frameworks and improvement reports
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagements and compliance audits

Essential Requirements

Education:
– LLB, Paralegal qualification, or CGISA certification
– Company secretarial registration preferred

Experience:
– 2-5 years corporate governance experience
– Board-level consulting background advantageous
– Knowledge of Trust Property Control Act/JSE requirements
