Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve backlogged case dockets (2+ years old)
  • Manage criminal investigations from planning to court proceedings
  • Apprehend suspects and process arrests
  • Maintain accurate case records on CAS system
  • Prepare comprehensive case files and progress reports
  • Develop confidential informant networks
  • Provide credible court testimony and oppose bail applications

Important Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Physical and mental fitness for police duties
  • Clear criminal record
  • South African citizenship
