Afrimat Limited, a leading black-empowered open pit mining company, is seeking a reliable and skilled Company Driver to join their team in Robertson, Western Cape.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Code 8 or 10 driver’s license (minimum requirement)
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
  • South African citizen
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
  • Medically fit to work in a mine environment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of employees, adhering to schedules
  • Provide safe and secure transportation, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
  • Efficiently navigate using knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
  • Maintain clear communication with passengers and employer
  • Adapt to schedule changes or urgent requests
  • Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure good working condition
