Community Service Environmental Health Practitioner (5 Positions)

About the Role:

Deliver essential municipal health services in compliance with the National Health Act (No. 61 of 2003) and organizational policies. Join a dedicated team serving the Cape Winelands region, renowned for its scenic landscapes and proximity to Cape Town.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Environmental Health
  • Current registration with HPCSA (Health Professions Council of SA)
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • Proficiency in two official Western Cape languages
  • Computer literacy (MS Office essentials)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement health safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Conduct community health inspections and evaluations
  • Manage public health projects from planning to execution
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on health initiatives
