– National Certificate

Experience: 6 years (2 years at supervisory/managerial level)

Location: Gauteng

Field: Education / Teaching, Safety and Environment (HSE)

Minimum Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12/N4 Certificate
• National Diploma in Fire Technology
• NFPA 1001 Fire Fighter Level 2 certification
• NFPA 472 Hazmat Operations certification
• First Aid Level 3 certification
• NFPA 1035 Fire & Life Safety Educator Level 1 certification
• Valid Code C1 Driver’s License with PDP
• Clean criminal record

Primary Function

Develop and deliver community Emergency Management Services (EMS) programs to enhance public safety awareness and skills through education and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to major incidents/disasters as required
• Conduct public safety campaigns and training programs
• Analyze and communicate EMS information
• Conduct fire risk assessments and evacuation planning
• Build partnerships with local communities
• Maintain ethical standards in all operations
