Job Purpose

The ideal candidate has experience in large, complex change programs. They should be good at explaining technical changes simply to different internal groups. They must balance speed with governance, quality, and risk management. This helps SARS modernize while keeping employees informed, engaged, and skilled.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communication, plus 8-10 years of experience in large-scale communication programs or strategic communication focused on employee experience. At least 3-4 years should be at a Junior Specialist level.

Alternative

  • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) plus 15 years of experience in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communication, including large-scale communication programs or strategic communication focused on employee experience. At least 3-4 years should be at a Junior Specialist level.

Minimum Functional Requirements

  • Experience in Marketing and Communication for large-scale change programs.
