Cold Store General Manager Jobs

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee all cold store operations to ensure they are efficient, compliant, and safe.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to keep quality standards high.
• Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and dispatching fruit products.
• Keep all certifications current for export markets like DoA, PPECB, China, Israel, and the USA.

Team Management

• Lead, guide, and develop a strong team in operations and planning.
• Build a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and ongoing improvement.

Logistics & Coordination

• Work with suppliers, transporters, and customers for on-time and accurate deliveries.
• Improve processes to cut costs and boost service quality.

Quality & Compliance

• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards strictly.
• Check product quality and take action to fix issues when needed.

Commercial & Customer Engagement

• Build good relationships with customers for top service and satisfaction.
• Create and follow a plan to grow our customer base.
• Work with the Maersk Reefer Sales Team to find and win new business.

Financial & Strategic Management

• Prepare budgets, track expenses, and find ways to save money.
• Review financial results and report to senior leaders.
• Lead projects to make operations more efficient and reach new markets.

Who We Are Looking For

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in cold storage management, ideally in fruit export.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and ability to develop teams.
• Great organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of logistics software and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of export rules and compliance standards.
