Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Code 10 Dangerous Goods Driver to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a valid Code 10 driver’s license with a Dangerous Goods Permit and proven experience transporting hazardous materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport dangerous goods in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain proper documentation for all shipments.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing the transport of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe transportation of dangerous goods.

Requirements:

  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a Dangerous Goods Permit.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Code 10 Dangerous Goods Driver.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and operate equipment to load and unload hazardous materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
