Position Requirements:
- Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certification (essential)
- National Diploma in Legal Interpreting (NQF Level 5) or equivalent qualification
- 6 years interpreting experience (minimum 3 years supervisory experience)
- Proficiency in English + 2+ indigenous South African languages
- Valid driver’s license
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead interpreting services across multiple court locations
- Develop and implement language service strategies
- Manage interpreter teams and resource allocation
- Conduct performance evaluations and staff development
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and ethics
