Position Details

Job Type: Full Time
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (SAPC-accredited)
Experience Required:
– Grade 1: 5+ years post-registration experience
– Grade 2: 13+ years post-registration experience
Location: Eastern Cape Province
Field: Pharmaceutical Practice

Key Requirements

• Valid SAPC registration as Clinical Pharmacist
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience
• Advanced knowledge of pharmacotherapy principles

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct multidisciplinary ward rounds and patient medication reviews
• Develop pharmaceutical care plans and monitor therapy outcomes
• Lead medicine utilization evaluations and protocol development
• Provide staff training and clinical mentorship programs
• Implement antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
• Participate in formulary management processes
