Position Summary

As a Shop Assistant Cashier, you will manage all point‑of‑sale activities, handle cash accurately, promote the Clicks clubcard, and support store merchandising and housekeeping to create a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash and card payments securely.
• Promote and enroll new clubcard members to meet participation targets.
• Inform customers about promotions and product benefits.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
• Support the company’s vision of being the customer’s first choice retailer.
• Keep up‑to‑date with product knowledge, promotions, and events.

Required Knowledge

• Basic math skills.
• Understanding of retail/FMCG operations, merchandising, and promotions.
• Knowledge of stock management procedures.
