Position Summary
Manage debt collection activities for customer portfolios, ensuring compliance with financial regulations while maintaining professional client relationships.
Requirements
Education:
National Diploma/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field (NQF Level 6)
Experience:
- 3+ years in credit management
- Experience handling ledger portfolios (R6m-R10m monthly)
- Cross-industry portfolio management experience
Key Responsibilities
Debt Management:
- Execute collection strategies for overdue accounts
- Maintain contact with clients through multiple channels
- Identify potential bad debt risks
Compliance & Reporting:
- Adhere to financial regulations and audit requirements
- Prepare debt status reports
- Maintain documentation systems
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Resolve billing disputes with internal teams
- Provide exceptional client service
- Collaborate across departments for issue resolution
