Job Purpose
The Cleaner will ensure the retail facility and related areas are clean, maintained, and organized according to SunBet’s operational standards and compliance procedures.
Responsibilities
– Clean and maintain all equipment and areas to ensure they are in good working order.
– Clean, dust, and mop floors using appropriate equipment and supplies.
– Vacuum and shampoo carpets, ensuring they are dry before the workday begins.
– Wipe down desks, chairs, and remove stubborn stains using proper cleaning materials.
– Empty and dispose of trash from dustbins and ashtrays.
– Clean and wash windows, ensuring they are properly dried.
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the office kitchen and equipment.
– Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing towels, soap, and toilet paper.
– Wipe down walls, doors, and wall hangings with appropriate cleaners.
– Monitor and maintain cleaning chemical levels and inventory.
– Set up and maintain the tea station, ensuring proper storage of crockery.
– Clean and report any broken or soiled equipment.
– Remove and dispose of waste properly.
– Comply with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
– Use and store cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
– Report any deviations from standards or maintenance issues.
– Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly and professionally.
– Address client complaints, requests, and suggestions promptly.
– Perform end-of-day dishwasher maintenance.
Requirements
– Grade 12 preferred or Grade 10 with at least 2 years of cleaning experience.
– Experience in office, facilities, or retail environments is an advantage.
