Role Summary

We are looking for a Cleaner to join the team at Reddam House Ballito starting in January 2026. You will help keep the school’s facilities clean, hygienic, and well-presented. This ensures a safe and welcoming space for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and other areas of the school.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules set by the Head of School or Facilities team.
• Use and store cleaning materials and equipment safely.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns right away.
• Support the school team in keeping a professional and orderly environment.

Ideal Candidate

• At least 2 years of cleaning experience, ideally in a school or similar setting.
• Good knowledge of cleaning practices, hygiene standards, and cleaning materials.
• Strong spoken English skills to communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
• A positive attitude and pride in upholding high standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to adapt to changes and work well in a team.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and commitment to the school’s values.
