Cleaner / Household Worker Level 2

Requirements:

• A minimum of Grade 10 (with an authentic school report), or a relevant NQF Level 2, or ABET Level 4. Ability to read and write. Experience in public service or cleaning will be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team. Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Patients’ Rights, and the 6 Ministerial Priorities. Willing to work flexible hours, including shifts (nights, weekends, and public holidays). Able to perform under pressure.

Duties:

• Clean windows, walls, carpets, floors, office furniture, consulting rooms, passages, and corridors. Empty bins, clean toilets, and other clinic areas under supervision. Change and wash linen. Serve tea and refreshments when needed. Wash dishes, glasses, cutlery, and utensils.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely. Maintain and store cleaning materials and equipment properly. Report any defects noticed. Perform any other duties as instructed by the supervisor.
