Core Responsibilities

Claims Assessment & Settlement

  • Evaluate liability and compensation amounts for accident claims
  • Manage loss of earnings calculations and general damages assessments
  • Review medical expenses and funeral cost claims
  • Oversee bulk settlements and expert assessments

Legal Proceedings Management

  • Prepare trial documentation for legal teams
  • Analyze medical-legal reports and expert testimony
  • Monitor court order implementation
  • Track outstanding case information

Dispute Resolution

  • Identify cases requiring legal intervention
  • Collaborate with attorneys on litigation strategies
  • Authorize settlement offers within mandate limits

Requirements

  • LLB Degree or equivalent legal qualification
  • Admitted Attorney/Advocate of High Court
  • Proven experience in claims processing and civil litigation
  • Strong understanding of RAF Act and related regulations
