Core Responsibilities
Claims Assessment & Settlement
- Evaluate liability and compensation amounts for accident claims
- Manage loss of earnings calculations and general damages assessments
- Review medical expenses and funeral cost claims
- Oversee bulk settlements and expert assessments
Legal Proceedings Management
- Prepare trial documentation for legal teams
- Analyze medical-legal reports and expert testimony
- Monitor court order implementation
- Track outstanding case information
Dispute Resolution
- Identify cases requiring legal intervention
- Collaborate with attorneys on litigation strategies
- Authorize settlement offers within mandate limits
Requirements
- LLB Degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Admitted Attorney/Advocate of High Court
- Proven experience in claims processing and civil litigation
- Strong understanding of RAF Act and related regulations
