Eligibility

• Minimum of an NTC 3 technical qualification in Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, or any other subject in the Heavy Current stream.
• Matric or Technical Matric (Grade 12) with English, Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Physical Science, and any other subject.
• Full NCV 4 Electrical (with 7 subjects).
• Must reside in the City of Cape Town metropolitan area.
• Valid driver’s licence (preferably Code C1).
• Not have qualified in any trade by the time the programme commences.
• Not possess a National S Diploma qualification or higher.

Requirements

• A passion for the electrical field.
• Good physical health; candidates with medical conditions that may negatively impact the Apprentices Programme (e.g., epilepsy, colour blindness) will not be considered.

Salary

R139,554.00 – T2B Basic Salary
