Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic resource management for effective service delivery
- Oversee municipal compliance with legislation and community needs
- Manage core services: infrastructure, utilities, housing, and economic development
- Serve as Accounting Officer for municipal finances (MFMA compliance)
- Strengthen intergovernmental relations and stakeholder partnerships
- Drive performance management and employment equity initiatives

- Develop unified long-term growth strategies
- Optimize municipal development potential
- Implement operational improvement plans
- Align service delivery with community needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Public Administration/Law/Social Sciences (Master’s preferred)
- Proven success in municipal leadership and institutional reform
- Expertise in local government legislation and governance
- Strong financial management and risk assessment skills
- Experience in infrastructure development and capital projects
- MFMA compliance certification (Regulation 493/2007)
