Position Details

  • Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
  • Education Requirement: Grade 12 Certificate + Security Certification
  • Experience Needed: 3-5 Years Security Supervision Experience
  • Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape

Essential Requirements

  • Valid SAPS Firearms Competency Certification (3 Firearms)
  • Grade B Security Certification from Private Security Regulatory Authority
  • Operational knowledge of MISS, MPSS, and Protection of Information Act
  • Valid driver’s license and computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Proven track record in security strategy implementation

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement national security policies across provincial operations
  • Manage security service providers and emergency protocols
  • Conduct risk assessments for provincial installations
  • Coordinate with SAPS and State Security Agency
  • Develop staff training programs and safety awareness initiatives
  • Oversee incident investigations and security audits
  • Manage personnel vetting processes

Operational Requirements

  • Strategic development of security management plans
  • Implementation of fire safety and emergency procedures
  • Monthly safety compliance reporting
  • Coordination of large-scale event security
