Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies
- Design governance, compliance, and ethics frameworks
- Monitor and report on organizational risk profiles
- Integrate risk management systems across departments
- Maintain financial controls and corporate governance standards
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in risk assessment processes
- Ensure compliance with MFMA and local government regulations
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
- 10+ years management experience (5+ at senior level)
- Professional membership with IRMSA/IIA preferred
- Expertise in risk methodologies and internal audits
- Strong understanding of municipal financial systems
- Excellent analytical and report-writing skills
- Legal/compliance background advantageous
