Position Overview

Key Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate
• NQF Level 7 qualification in Quantity Surveying (3-year degree recognized by SAQA)
• Professional registration with SACQSP
• 3+ years post-registration experience
• Valid driver’s license

Essential Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of construction regulations (PFMA, CIDB Act, Building Regulations)
• Proficiency in WinQS, AutoCAD, and MS Project
• Expertise in cost planning and contract administration
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure project budgets and cost optimization
• Oversee consultant/contractor performance monitoring
• Administer construction contracts and payment certifications
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations
• Implement sustainable infrastructure solutions
• Ensure compliance with IDMS and IPDM frameworks
