Key Responsibilities
- Design blended finance models and secure investments from DFIs, banks, and private partners
- Lead capital-raising strategies including investor roadshows
- Manage full project cycles from feasibility studies to handover
- Oversee property leases, acquisitions, and urban renewal initiatives
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and budgeting standards
- Develop high-performing teams through mentorship and skills growth
- Manage risks and stakeholder relationships across government and private sectors
Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Built Environment, or Project Management
- Professional registration with ECSA, SACPCMP, or equivalent body
- FAIS RE1 certification (advantageous)
- Master’s degree/MBA preferred
Experience
- 10-15 years in investment/development roles
- 7-8 years in executive leadership (CIDO/CIO level)
- Proven success in public-private partnerships and urban development projects
