Position Summary

- Experience Needed: 5+ years at middle management level

Essential Qualifications
- Must meet Municipal Regulations competency requirements (SAQA ID 48965)
- Completion of CPMD/MFMP certification within 18 months if not already obtained
- Advanced computer literacy and financial systems proficiency
- Valid driver’s license (Code B)
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and manage financial strategies aligned with municipal IDP objectives
- Provide expert guidance on fiscal compliance and governance matters
- Oversee budget implementation and financial reporting systems
- Manage supply chain processes and asset management systems
- Coordinate intergovernmental financial reporting obligations
- Optimize IT infrastructure for financial management operations
