As South Africa’s bicameral legislature under the Constitution, Parliament consists of the National Assembly and National Council of Provinces. We’re currently in our 27th parliamentary session since May 2019.
Key Position Details:
Location: Gauteng
Experience: 10+ years (5 years senior management)
Education: Bachelor’s degree required (NQF 8)
Preferred: Master’s degree | CA(SA) registration
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement financial standards across parliamentary operations
- Lead strategic financial planning and budgeting
- Oversee cash management and financial reporting
- Manage supply chain and asset portfolios
- Direct risk management strategies
- Supervise financial team operations
Essential Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance/Accounting
- Proven track record in fiscal leadership
- Comprehensive knowledge of public sector finance
- Strong grasp of SA financial regulations
- Successful completion of 6-month probation
