Position: Chief Engineer – Structural (Grade A)

Requirements

  • 6+ years post-registration engineering experience
  • Proven expertise in structural design of concrete, steel, and masonry structures
  • Experience with industrial buildings, bridges, dams, and water treatment facilities
  • Ability to interpret geotechnical data for foundation design
  • Postgraduate structural engineering qualification (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve structural designs from service providers
  • Develop technical specifications for construction projects
  • Conduct quality control inspections during project execution
  • Prepare technical reports and business cases for project funding
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
  • Manage technical aspects of minor construction projects
