Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consulting and investigation services
  • Develop and integrate complex engineering solutions and designs

  • Plan and implement research into new technologies for the discipline

Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

  • BSc Eng / B Eng Degree in Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits

Related Minimum Experience:

  • 7 years of extensive experience in engineering design, design integration, and engineering management in power generation technologies. This includes materials handling plant, low-pressure services plant, chemical plant, boiler emissions control, milling, draft group, burners, power plant processes, turbine center line, pumps, gas turbines, high-pressure equipment, feed heating and cooling, solar plants, wind energy plants, and related chemistry systems, electrical, civil, control, and instrumentation systems
  • Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a professional engineer
