Position: Chief Engineer – Building Infrastructure
Key Requirements:
- 🔹 Matric certificate + Civil Engineering Degree (NQF Level 7)
- 🔹 ECSA Professional Registration (Engineer/Technologist)
- 🔹 Valid driver’s license & computer literacy
- 🔹 3+ years post-registration engineering experience
Required Skills:
- ✓ Expert knowledge of public infrastructure lifecycle management
- ✓ Proficiency in JBCC, FIDIC, and CIDB regulatory frameworks
- ✓ Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project
- ✓ Strong leadership in project management & team mentorship
Core Responsibilities:
- • Lead provincial building infrastructure projects
- • Develop technical standards & quality assurance protocols
- • Manage R45+ million construction budgets
- • Oversee infrastructure procurement processes
- • Ensure compliance with national building regulations
