Key Requirements:
- BSc/B.Eng/BTech in Civil Engineering
- ECSA Professional Registration (Pr.Eng/Pr.Tech)
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Proven experience in municipal infrastructure management
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance of road networks and stormwater systems
- Coordinate infrastructure projects from planning to execution
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with transportation safety standards
- Develop operational strategies for maintenance programs
- Supervise procurement processes and contractor management
- Update policies to align with regulatory requirements
- Optimize team performance through effective leadership
