Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Public Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, or a related field at NQF level 7, recognized by SAQA.
• A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role in governance, strategy planning, and management.
• Completion of the Nyukela Certificate for entry into the Senior Management Service (SMS) is required upon appointment.
• A valid driver’s licence.

Key Performance Areas:

• Manage and monitor the Department’s strategic and annual planning and reporting processes.
• Develop and oversee inter-governmental relations with all spheres of government, the private sector, and international organizations.
• Provide performance monitoring and evaluation services.
• Offer effective oversight and governance for the Department’s public entities.
• Manage the human and financial resources of the office efficiently.
