• Proven experience in education sector leadership
• Expertise in teacher development policies and data analysis
• Familiarity with South African education frameworks and regulations

Core Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of national teacher education strategies (ISPFTED)
• Oversee teacher development programs including multilingual education initiatives
• Manage national initiatives: Fundza Lushaka Bursary, Teacher Awards, and Induction Program
• Collaborate with educational institutions to ensure program quality standards
• Provide strategic direction for staff management and budget oversight
