Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced audit professional to lead our Internal Audit department and risk management functions at Langeberg Municipality.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Auditing/Internal Audit (NQF Level 7)
  • 8+ years experience with 2+ years supervisory role
  • Professional registration with Institute of Internal Auditors
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
  • Valid Code B driver’s license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal audit and risk management operations
  • Manage audit team members
  • Coordinate strategic audit planning
  • Advise leadership on compliance systems
  • Monitor regulatory compliance
  • Support Audit & Performance Committee
