Position: Chief Audit Executive
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of Internal Audit strategy aligned with organizational objectives
- Establish risk-based audit frameworks and governance policies
- Design 3-year audit plans and oversee implementation timelines
- Prepare reports for Board Committees and executive leadership
- Manage audit team resources including budgets and workforce planning
- Monitor compliance with Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) regulations
Requirements
Education:
- NQF Level 8 qualification in Internal Audit/Business/Commerce
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) SA
Experience:
- 10+ years in audit/risk management (5 years at senior management level)
- Proven leadership in financial services auditing environments
- Expertise in International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF)
