Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced audit professional to lead our Internal Audit department and risk management functions at Langeberg Municipality.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Auditing/Internal Audit (NQF Level 7)
- 8+ years experience with 2+ years supervisory role
- Professional registration with Institute of Internal Auditors
- Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
- Valid Code B driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead internal audit and risk management operations
- Manage audit team members
- Coordinate strategic audit planning
- Advise leadership on compliance systems
- Monitor regulatory compliance
- Support Audit & Performance Committee
