Key Performance Areas

  • Manage the repair, breakdown services, and maintenance of both heavy and light government vehicles.
  • Provide technical services and support in the government garage or workshop, working with artisans.
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as contributing to the budgeting process and preparing reports as needed.
  • Manage finances by controlling and monitoring expenditure to ensure efficient cash flow.
  • Lead people by developing, motivating, and utilizing human resources, and by setting and monitoring performance standards for subordinates.
  • Maintain and advance expertise through continuous individual development to keep up with new technologies and procedures.

Prerequisites

  • An appropriate Trade Test certificate in Diesel or Electromechanical.
  • 5 years of experience as an Artisan Foreman.
  • Valid Driver’s License (except for people with disabilities).
