Role Overview

We seek a skilled professional to oversee salary deductions administration, tax compliance, travel expense management, and financial record-keeping within our Agricultural Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage salary deductions and payroll accounting processes
• Handle tax compliance and employee allowance administration
• Supervise travel expense reimbursements
• Maintain accurate financial records using PERSAL/BAS systems
• Manage debt recovery processes
• Lead operational planning for finance team

Essential Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate with Accounting
• 3 years’ relevant financial administration experience
• Valid driver’s license (Code B) – exceptions for qualified candidates with alternative transport

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in PERSAL and BAS software systems
• Strong understanding of PFMA and relevant financial regulations
• Advanced Excel skills and financial reporting capabilities
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Compensation Package

Annual Salary Range: R325,101 – R382,959 (Level 7)
