Position Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- 3-year tertiary qualification in Financial Accounting (National Diploma/BComm)
- 5-8 years’ relevant experience including 2 years supervisory experience
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- Municipal Minimum Competency Certificate (or commitment to obtain within 18 months)
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial systems (Munsoft preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Financial Accounting
- 8+ years’ experience with 2 years in supervisory role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead revenue management functions including debtors administration
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Provide strategic support to senior management
- Oversee service delivery objectives for finance department
- Ensure compliance with municipal financial regulations
