Position Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-year tertiary qualification in Financial Accounting (National Diploma/BComm)
  • 5-8 years’ relevant experience including 2 years supervisory experience
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
  • Municipal Minimum Competency Certificate (or commitment to obtain within 18 months)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial systems (Munsoft preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Financial Accounting
  • 8+ years’ experience with 2 years in supervisory role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead revenue management functions including debtors administration
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Provide strategic support to senior management
  • Oversee service delivery objectives for finance department
  • Ensure compliance with municipal financial regulations
