Requirements
- Proven experience in school language policy implementation
- Knowledge of Mother Tongue-based Bilingual Education frameworks
- Understanding of national Language in Education Policy (1997)
- Experience working with school governing bodies
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee implementation of Language in Education Policy across provincial schools
- Develop and review School Language Policies (SLP) with communities
- Promote multilingual education and address language policy violations
- Facilitate training programs for school staff and governing bodies
- Coordinate language advocacy campaigns and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure compliance with constitutional language requirements
